Louisa and Rob’s best memory of their Nana

On millennium eve Nana and Aunty Lou came to our house to celebrate the New Year. They didn’t usually drink very much alcohol, but had a couple of glasses of champagne and they got very tipsy. At midnight we all went outside to see the fireworks with Nana and Aunty Lou still holding their champagne glasseswhile standing in the road and having a really good time. Louisa says that when she went back to school, the teacher asked the class what they had done to celebrate the millennium, and she said “My Nana got drunk!”
