A few words from Jane

It was a privilege to look after Mum in recent years as she found things more difficult but never complained.

When I had to work, two of my friends used to regularly help her at home and have lovely chats with her. Her neighbours were always there for her too, making sure she was safe. So we’d like to say a special thank you to Karen, Jackie, Linda, David, Sue, Julian, Kusum, Vasant and Caroline. And everyone she knew at Truscotts.

A very special memory for me and the family is Mum at the annual Hollow Reunion Weekend in Eastbourne. Up to her 94th year, she would be the last one to go to bed and still be up for breakfast with the family. Her party piece was singing at the Karaoke to her favourite song ‘Moon River’.
